Psalm 27:14

Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord~ Psalm 27:14

Waiting for the Lord is the hardest experience we may go through, yet, it is also the one which develops our faith, our trust, and our hope in our God. We pray, and pray and then we have this expectation that God will answer, right away. Instead we find there is no answer, but there are certainly more questions. Yet, here we are guided by the psalmist who has waited, who has had to be strong in heart, and has been satisfied in the waiting. So I too have had to wait on the Lord, as have you. And the Lord has answered. This is what we can remember when our faith grows weary, and our strength seems to wane at the next challenge. We can count the times the Lord has come through in the 99th hour and answered our long-standing prayers. So, our waiting is done with a right attitude – one of prayer, of thanksgiving, of reverence, of humility, and of hope. Then, see what the Lord will do!
