1 Peter 5:10

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast ~ 1 Peter 5:10


Have you gone through a time of feeling that you have let Jesus down? It may be a situation like Peter’s, where he denied knowing Christ, or it could be that you kept your belief in Him in the background for some time and have neglected to sit with him? Or perhaps you are suffering because of your verbal defense of Jesus and those around you are putting your faith down into the gutter. For whatever reason, you find yourself in a desert place of suffering and you are wondering how you will make it through. Remember that the God of hope is with you always. It is his strength we are to rely upon, and it is in him that our restoration will come. The world may try to defeat us, and the enemy of our soul will play havoc with us at times, but we are more than conquerors through Christ who was victorious over this world and Satan. Stand strong in him and remain steadfast and your reprieve will come! God will not forsake you in the time of your testing, but will bring you through it and build your faith in the meantime! Then you will be a light to others around you!
