Isaiah 54:17


No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servant of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord ~ Isaiah 54:17

The Lord protects his children. This is not to say we will not go through the fire, but it is to say that no matter what the world throws at us, we will be vindicated by the Lord either in this lifetime, or the next. No weapon forged, not the spear, or sword, or any “modern” weapon the enemy of our soul may create will prosper and have final say. There might be, for a time, affliction permitted, but there will not be complete success which would remain final. And no one will be able to injure you with words of accusation. If you stand in truth, Truth will prevail. The enemy of our soul may have command of the earth’s principalities and powers, he may be skilled in hostility, and he certainly aimed these at Jesus Christ, but he did not win! Jesus has overcome the enemy of our soul! It is in Jesus Christ where our security lies. Our righteousness lies in God our Father, Jesus Christ our Saviour, and the Holy Spirit our guide and comforter. Our heritage rests in Him, the Three-in-0ne! We have the blessings found in His Word, and the fulfillment of His gracious and wondrous promises! Romans 8:34 tells us that if God justifies us, who can condemn us? And if God will sanctify us, He will perfect that which is in us. We cannot make ourselves righteous, only God can do this for us!

I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert ~ Isaiah 43:19 When we meet a challenge, we are often found discouraged, lost, even hopeless.
