Luke 2:13, 14

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men ~ Luke 2:13, 14

The shepherds, upon hearing this announcement must have stumbled over themselves in great joy, shouting, “To us lowly shepherds, a choir of angelic hosts have sung the song for us to hear; a song our world has been waiting many centuries to hear.” And upon the choral sound their hearts were filled with hope, and they ran off to see “this thing which has come to pass.” How many of this type of message has been sent to us! Have we found Christ as these humble shepherds found Him? Spending Christmas without Christ is sorrowful! Rev. Moore wrote that such a Christmas is a Christmas of sad tidings…the anniversary of a despised and wasted birthright. Had Christ not come, there would be no hope, no Church, no hospital or orphanage, no comfort for the dying and no dream of peace. May Good Will and Peace be yours, today, tomorrow, and next year!
