Titus 2:11


For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people ~ Titus 2:11

There is yet to be a time when all people are saved, yet, God has established a way of salvation that is large enough to bring salvation to all people. Why so many are unsaved is a mystery, and it is one we are not meant to understand. We do know that if all people would accept the grace of God, salvation would be theirs, and God’s free love and favour would reign in their hearts. Unfortunately, all people do not have the faith, nor hope, nor love, nor any of the graces and fruit of the Holy Spirit. Salvation is only the beginning of what God offers to His people. Once salvation takes place in the heart a transformation occurs which brings blessings innumerable. Salvation brings the Good News into the heart, for where there was separation there is now unification with Father God as his newly adopted child. Where there was once sin and condemnation there is now redemption and reconciliation. Where there was once death eternal now there is life forever with Him. Where there was once disobedience, now there is the desire to follow where He will lead, to obey His commands of love and mercy, to not only be shined upon by our Lord, but to shine on others what He has brought to us. God calls all people to the gospel, how sad that not all people recognize what we as Christ followers and as saved children obtained the moment we believed. How sad not all answer His call.

Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in sharing their own opinions ~ Proverbs 18:2 If we are going to understand something, we must fully digest it so that when we speak, we speak with wisdom. When we have only half truths in our mind, our words become empty and senseless. We then puff out air rather than understanding when we speak. A wise person will want to improve their mind through learning in various ways from the world around them. A person who delights in spiritual understanding will find peace and enjoyment in reading the Word of God on a daily basis, and in participating with God’s people in a learning and praising environment – the church! Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert ~ Isaiah 43:19 When we meet a challenge, we are often found discouraged, lost, even hopeless. Nothing is working, everything seems to be against us. We do not know how to move forward, so we remain curled up in a ball. Then, a glimmer of light shines through! Hope is regained and movement is stirred within. Don’t we become excited when we begin to feel it? God moves like that. We cannot see our way around it, but He can and does.
