Hebrews 9:15

For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant ~ Hebrews 9:15

Jesus came as a baby, grew into a man, suffered as a criminal, died on a Cross meant for sinners, to be exalted to the right hand of God the Father! This He did for you and me! Our weak body He took on, our crimes were placed on His head, our punishment He withstood, so that we might have a place with Him in glory!! He kept His covenant promise to the end and beyond, becoming for us a mediator, He slew the enemy of our soul in that one act, setting us free from the bondage by which we were held! “For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life!” He is the atonement for our sin, once, for all people, so that we might have peace in our heart and mind and soul. His death a sacrifice for our sin, for He was sinless, blameless, a lamb led to the slaughter for our sake! Oh, how much I owe Him, how much you owe Him for the Cross! Oh, you who may be hesitating in believing that He is the Son of the Most High God, do not waver any longer! Come to the cross, come to the One who has taken away the cost of your sin upon Himself so that you might be free! Free from shame and guilt, free from your past, free to live an abundant life, and free from the fear of death, for He has promised to us that believe in Him, eternal life with Him forever in the heavenly realm! What joy there is in knowing Jesus, what peace there is in His name, what power there is in His Holy covenant promise! Come, today, come!
