Job 37:5, 6
God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding. He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ and to the rain shower, ‘Be a mighty downpour.’ ~ Job 37:5, 6
Today, where I live, there is no threat of thunder, rain, or snow. In fact, for a November day, the temperature is about to rise to 21 celcius, which is phenomenal. This is highly unusual where I live! Whether it is raining, or snowing, or the sun is bright and high in the sky, the earth proclaims the mightiness of God. God created this earth, the seasons, the atmosphere; and He created you and me. What marvels we see in ourselves and around us! We cannot understand or comprehend all that lays out of reach of mankind. As a species, we are learning more and more scientifically, that is true. Still, we have questions that cannot be answered, still there are many aspects of life we cannot understand. We all thought by this time we would be free of the pandemic, but still we struggle on to find the vaccine, and still the virus alters itself into other forms. Our scientists are learning more and more about this covid-19, but they do not know all. I am not saying God put this virus on the earth, we understand it came through animal life into our food chain. I do believe God allowed it, but for what purpose you may ask? Look at our world, how far we have turned away from Him. Especially where I live in North America – we are the past missionaries needing missionaries. We are stoic, and “multi-spiritual”, which says spirit is in me; it is me. We have neglected to give glory to the God and Father of Jesus Christ, and we have rejected His salvation. God will show His strength in the small and weak so that our proud spirits would be broken and finally acknowledge Him. If we do not repent, He has a more terrible rain to send, overflowing, and under His control, which will declare His power.
